A protector is a race that resides within another being. They don't usually come out unless their host is in danger. Their powers pretty much vary. Most protectors are known to be in league with the Dark Brotherhood. Other than this a whole lot isn't known about this race. They're pretty mysterious.

Ups: Abnormal strength.

Downs: Usually only comes out when host is in danger.
