Running (vamp and kyo)

Vamp walks through the forest. Hands in pockets. She was wearing a purple snug tank top. Black skinny jeans with a plaid mini skirt over them. She had a tough week running through the wild as someone chased her. Some villagers found out what she was and she had to leave before they could kill her. She had been running for 3 days straight. She was at least 300 miles away. Hoping for more. Knowing the villagers she figured they would be spreading the news about her as fast as they could.
She hadn't slept sense she left. walking slowly through one of the deep parts of the forest. Vampy didnt dare slowdown. She was tempted to go to the top of the trees to see if there was a town near by. Being so deep in the wild she didnt think there would be any so she didnt bother tiring herself out quicker.

Kyo was sitting on a tree branch resting and enjoying his quiet, when he heard footsteps heading in his direction. Getting a little agitated at the fact that their was noise Kyo looks down to the ground to see what was going down. In the distance he saw a girl running towards him, her expression showed that she was scared and exhausted. Not far behind her was a group of people with pitch forks, swords and a host of other weapons.

Kyo began to feel slightly sorry for this girl although he didn't know what she had done, though that was no way to treat a lady. So he waited for them to get nearer, hiding himself in the tree so not even a scent of him could be traced.

As Vamp runs she smells a scent she doesn't recognize. it wasn't human but she knew the mob was coming closer. so she didnt let her curiosity take over. She also didnt want to bring this other thing into her problem.

Continuing to run she cut around trees and bushes. only quickly looking back a few times to get a look at the mob.

As they got closer Kyo teleports straight into the mob's path, cutting them off from the girl. The moment he appeared in their path they stopped immediately shivering perfusely as his crimson red eyes met theirs. Kyo smirks slightly grabbing the closest one to him and placing a hand on his forehead. Kyo them goes into the man's mind and is able to see everything that transpired. "Hmmm..." he said as he tilted his head to the side after killing the man he was grasping in his hand.

"I thought you guys had a better excuse for your actions, but I see its purely self-ish" Kyp said before killing all of them before they could even make a sound. Afterward he disappeared, suddenly appearing infront of the girl who was not that far away.

Vamp doesnt realize that someone stopped the mob and she keeps running. Cutting through the forest at high speed she kept glancing around to make sure no one was there. She realized that the smell was gone. Her curiosity really wanted her to go back but her legs were winning the fight.

Continuing to run she peeked behind her to see if any of the villagers were there. She saw none so she looked in front of her again. Realizing that it was too late and ran into a tree face first. Falling to the ground she got up brushing herself off and placing her hand up to her forehead. Feeling a bump and a bit of warmness from a wet substance she looked at her hand. Her forehead was bleeding. Wiping her hands on her jeans she started running again ignoring the mass headache coming from her forehead.

Knowing the villagers were a bit behind her she slowed up her running but not a lot. Still running fast dodging trees, bushes and branches, she felt like an uber awesome ninja. Vamp kept running. Smiling thinking of herself as a ninja. Dodging the obstacles she thought of why she was running and her smile faded. She started running faster. Fully aware of her head hurting and bleeding pretty badly she tried to forget it all. But some how she couldnt.

Suddenly a man appeared in front of her. Realizing she skid to a stop and fell to the ground, feet sliding in front of her. Not realizing that she would fall in a huge puddle of mud so she let herself fall. Hitting the ground mud splashing everywhere. Blood streaking her face and spots of mud on it as she looks at the boy. Smelling the same smell back in the other part of the forest she sat there frozen and dirty. Not able to say a word.

Kyo laughed a little at the girl's shocked expression then to show that he is somewhat friendly he puts his hand out in front of the girl and healed her injured head. Afterward he extends that same hand to help her get up off the ground.

"Hello there" Kyo said with a smile "you don't have to worry about those humans anymore, they are all taken care of. What did you do to spook them?" Kyo asked as if he didn't already know.

Vamp looks at the boy and goes wide eyed when she feels no more pain. She gently puts a hand onto her forehead and the scratch is gone. Only feeling dried blood and mud. Looking at the boys hand knowing he is somehow like herself she gently takes it and gets up. Her back was all covered in mud and has splashes of mud at the front of her.

Looks at the boy wondering if she can trust him and confused. Taken care of? what did he do? Why did he do this for me? She finally got enough thought to trust him. In stead of explaining herself she smiles showing her fangs to him. She decided to wait to show him her shapeshifting powers until she knew about him more. "What is your name, and what are you?"

Kyo looked at the girls fangs then smirked "So you are a vampire, interesting" he spoke as if he was somewhat surprised. he looked at her with a smile after she asked him his name, intrigued by how fast she came to trust him.

"My name is Kyo" he answered "and I am the leader of the underworld" waiting to see her reaction he paused and just looked at her.

Vamps eyes widened. She knew about the underworld but never been there. She had always wondered it. She heard about the leader. Many things. Bad horrible things but also Nice things. Wondering which were true. Wondering her options she nodded. "Cool. I am Vamp. Vampire Attacks." Shrugs.

Kyo smiled "Well it is nice to meet you Vampire Attacks" he replied. Seeing the confusion on her face he wondered what she was thinking. Seeing that she was dirty he spoke up "You should go change out of those dirty clothes" Kyo suggested while walking up the side of a tree like he was a ninja.

Vamp bit her lip and looked down at the ground. Still curious about him. But she didnt want to tell him this was her only pair of cloths. The mob burnt down the building her others were in. She also didnt want him to think she was helpless. Sighing she nodded. "Yeah i'll go do that." Wondering where she should go she started walking east. away from the old town she lived in. When ever she tried towns this would happen. Hoping she could find a city soon to live in for a while.

Kyo looks at her walk away but from the hesitation in her voice he figured that she had nothing left. "You know you can hang with me for a while and I could help you out you know." Kyo said yelling out to her.

Vamp stops and glances back. How much did he know? Or did he know? Was it obvious that she is homeless? Sighing she turned around. looking at the boy. Not knowing what to say she just stood there and watched.

Kyo continued to look at her waiting for her to answer, seeing that she was lost for words he spoke "Umm... is everything okay, did I say something wrong?"

Sighing she crossed her arms looking at Kyo. Deciding to ask the most dangerous question in the world. how much do you know and not telling me about my own life? Glaring at the boy. Really needing answers. Knowing she had to tell him about her sucky life sooner or later.

"Hmmm..." Kyo thought for the moment then replied "well I don't know that much but I do know a few things from looking into the mind of one of the people who were chasing you before I took care of him ofcourse." Kyo then looked at her giving her a look which would be interpreted as he's a saint. "Why do you ask?"

Glares at the boy but once she heard about the mind reading her eyes opened wide. W...Wha? She couldnt say anything for a while as she listened and thinked about it. Finally she realized that he asked her a question. shaking her head softly trying to clear it. She looked at him knowing he was waiting for an answer to the question that blew right through her mind. Um...sorry i didnt quite catch that question. Looking at him innocently she wasnt going to fall for that saint look he was giving her.

Kyo tilted his head a little but repeated himself even though he hates doing so. "Why do you want to know how much I know about you?" he questioned again.

Mimi thought. If he knew so much about her she might have to leave right away. But he also knew she was homeless. Having no where to go she looked at him. Knowing that he shouldnt know about her. She glares a bit. Because its crucial to my health and life!

Kyo laughed at the answer a bit "Really now?" he answered sarcastically. "You do realize that I am the ruler of the underworld right? I'm not new to people constantly wanting me dead." he said while looking at her with one raised eyebrow.

Mimi bit back a smile. She knew that people would want him dead and she wasnt one of them. she just didnt want her info to be known. She also didnt want anyone really to know she existed. Sighing she walks up to the leader of the underworld. You see i dont want you dead. But i dont want to be known by anyone. I want it to be like i never existed. So thanks for your help but i decline. Turning she walks into the deeper part of the forest.

Kyo shugs but smirks at the same time saying in his mind 'she'll be back'. He them layed back on a tree branch and pretended to sleep. Though he still kept track of her aura in his head while she was walking away, following every step she took without actually following her.

Vamp closes her eyes thinking. He could be dangerous. But she refused to turn back and look at him. Thinking she could get away from this dude quicker if she transformed. She also wanted to look like she belongs there so if someone were to see her she wouldnt look out of place. Thinking what kind of animals were here she decided to transform into a crow. She hated the annoying birds but there were a lot of them around. Making her wonder if there was death around her. Or if they were there because she was there. Laughing softly she threw that idea away. Vampires arent actually dead. One stupid myth she hated but loved at the same time. It made people scared of her. Stopping in her footsteps she transformed into a crow and flew off farther away from the boy.

Kyo sensed her rising into the air and became curious as to how she was doing that, for as far as he knew vampires do not turn into bats. Letting his curiosity get the most of him Kyo completely masks his power and scent so none could ever sense or track him. Then using his ability to teleport he teleports near the girls location looking up and seeing a crow emitting her aura. He raises an eyebrow but remains hidden looking at the crow carefully. "This is an interesting ability she has" Kyo said to himself "I should go mess with her head" he thought for a second but held back for a while longer.

Vamp kept flying. Suddenly realizing she was a bit hungry she looked around as she flew for any sign of a hidden town some place. Seeing none she kept flying. She figured she could last up to 3 hours without really starting to notice it. So she kept flying away from the boy. After an hour and a half she started getting tired from flapping. Landing softly on a tree she looked around and turned into a leopard and walked. She didnt want to run. She thought she was far enough from the boy to not worry about him. Looking through the trees at the sky she didnt even think about checking how close it was to sun rise. She really got unconfurtable in the sun but she wouldnt burn. Thinking it had to be soon she sighed and turned into a crow again rising to the sky and headed for the mountain about a half hour in front of her. Once she got there she thought best to be a bat when going in so the other bats she sensed didnt attack her. So she transformed a bit before Vamp entered. Finding an empty spot in a corner she hung upside down and thought for a while. But she could not find sleep.
