| Outside the forest there stands a small village. It is a poor village with rackshack housing. Rice fields cover one side of it, their way of surviving. At the north end of the village there is a tiny Shinto shrine, it would be larger but one whole side was collapsed, as if it had been smashed.
Aside from villagers who were walking around there stood a blonde priestess, she was sweeping the front steps to the shrine. Namida Hoshi was the caretaker of the shrine. The monks and other shrine maidens had grown old so Namida took care of them. She stood sweeping, watching the other villagers go about their day. She smiled and enjoyed the peace they had. Thanks to her mother's sacrafice. She looked up to the sky, there was a slight fracture of sunlight due to a barrier her mother had placed around the shrine.
"Oh mother.. The peace is good.. Thank you.." She whispered to herself and smiled.

| While walking around this Human living area, Kyo walked past what looked to him like a large barrier. Scratching his head wondering why this barrier was here he decides to check it out. First looking at it wondering what was inside then without much effort due to him being a Half Angel and Half Demon he managed to shimmer his way through the barrier without damaging it.
Upon getting inside he saw a large beautiful shrine and saw a girl standing there looking up at the sky. To be polite and not scare the girl, also not knowing weather he was trespassing on sacred ground or a berial site, Kyo stands a good way off and waits till the girl notices his presence.

| Namida's body twitched. Something went through the barrier. She turned quickly around, scanning the area. She felt and saw a male standing off a distance. The priestess was confused a bit. He felt different. She sensed good and demonic aura.
"He..Hello..." She bowed and looked at the male.

| Kyo looked at the girl seeing her confusion but not knowing what about. He takes a few steps towards her "Hi there, how are you doing? i'm not intruding on anything am I?" he asked with a slight smile.
This girl had a very peaceful aura about her and was very pretty. Kyo stood there wondering what she was doing at a place like this.

| He approached her calmly, and smiled. Maybe the barrier was malfunctioning or something. Namida smiled in return. "Nay sir, this is a public place for prayers, everyone is welcomed." She slowly moved her hand in about a circle, pointing out the Archway leading to the prayer room. | |

| Kyo looked at the place where she was pointing and nodded to her. Curious about a few things he decided to ask more questions. "Why is there a barrier over this place? How come such a beautiful person like yourself is here all alone?" Kyo inquired as his eyes scanned the entire area without him having to move around at all.
After looking around and seeing the small village and people busily walking around he turned his full attention back to this girl which presence had intrigued him a little.

| Namida felt a light blush come over her face. She looked at the ground as she answered, "I-I'm not alone.. The elder monks and priestesses are either away or too sickly to work. I'm just keeping the grounds clear..As for the barrier? It is up to help us save the village, incase of a demon attack.." The girl rested her hand on her shoulder, right above the large scars she hid.
"But the barrier is very strong. So if you need to stay here or ever need protection, Oji-san and I can protect anyone with our Purifying powers." She grinned.

| As the girl blushed Kyo smiled a little, thinking about her request for a quick minute. "Well thanks for the suggestion but I highly doubt any demon or any creature for that matter would dare attack me, if they know whats good for them" Kyo replied with a slight smirk on his face.
"Anyways you must be a pretty strong priestess, to have such purifying power" Kyo stated as he walked over to her and sat on the steps of the shrine.
"I'm curious how exactly does the barrier protect you from demons? It hides this place from them or something?" Kyo asked looking at her intently wondering if she knew what he was.

| Namida blinked, he must be strong to not worry about the demons.. She watched him take a seat. She smiled slightly and looked at the corner of her vision, to the village's edge where thte barrier ends. "I'm not so strong.. I can only purify small demons.." When he questioned the workings of the barrier the smile grew. "The barrier is.. an alarm in a way. When a demon tries to break through it we can sense it and prepare.. Only strong demons can actually get through it.." | |

| Kyo looked at her cheerful experience and with a smile spoke "oh I see, so that's how you were alerted to my presence so fast". Wondering which way she would take that statement.
"Oh, I don't think I introduced myself before. My name is Kyo" extends his hand for her to shake it. "So what you guys do around here for fun?" Kyo asked afterwards.

| At his statement Namida froze. This boy is a demon..? But he looks so human.. Then she remember Oji-san had told her some demons were powerful and could taken on a human appearance. She'd have to be cautious..
Obviously scared she took the boys hand and shook it. She felt his demonic aura and it burned her hand from her own purifying powers. "N-nice to meet you.. I'm N-Namida Hoshi.." Continuing to study him, she also replied, "The children play games.. However I have duties and work.. So I wouldn't know.."

| Noticing her scared expression and the stuttering in her voice Kyo smiles at her then taking that same hand that was burnt and healing it using his angelic powers. "Sorry about that, from your expression you think i'm a demon i would presume. But I am actually a half breed, though I am the leader of the underworld due to a few mishaps after my birth." Kyo replied not telling her exactly what the other half he was mixed with.
"Well it is nice to meet you Namida and there is no need to be afraid of me I will not hurt you." He replied suddenly trying to make her feel more comfortable around him. After her saying she had a lot of duties Kyo offered to help her out if she didn't mind.

| Namida swallowed back her fear and nodded her head. She was surprised to hear this man was the leader of the underworld. If he was so powerful why was he at a dumpy village like this? When he offered to help she shook her head smiling. "It tis only sweeping and fixing the elders dinners.. Not that much.. So um.. Kyo-san.. If you're so strong then why...?" | |

| Kyo looked at her, still offering to help either way. "Four hands are better than two" he said with a slight laugh.
After hearing her question he smiled "I'm not the type to be stuck in one place. I decided to travel this world in search of adventure and true happiness" He replied. "This place is not that bad and the fact that i'm here means there is less of a chance of a demon attack."

| I had wandered a far ways from home. Where I thought I was going was around the park and back to home. However, there seemed to be some sort of weird rift around the park area that transported me to this unrecognizable place. It did not seem to fit well with the memories in my mind. I did not know this place. I hardly knew a lot of places other than what lay within the confines of my vicinity. And so, what more? I began to walk towards the structure and inside it. As I walked through its halls I began to explore a little bit. Who knows what I might find? A little frightened I decided to walk to its centered room. And then a shy voice, my own voice, sounded from my mouth.
"Um hello..? Anyone.. here?"

| Namida twitched as she felt another disturbance in the barrier. Another one? But this was a tiny presence. She would wait for it to show its face. She kept looking around trying to see it. Then she turned her attention back to Kyo. "Adventure and happiness? Sounds like a storybook character..." She giggled. | |

| Kyo began feeling the presence, closing his eyes for a moment to sense it's exact location and aura. Noticing it was no demon within seconds he opened his eyes waiting for it to show itself. As Namida commented on his purpose for being here he laughed a little replying "Well I guess so but it beats being in the underworld surrounded by gloomy people and demonic creatures." | |

| "Hello? Is anyone here?"
At that time, the voice, my voice, would have called out to oblivion, hoping that someone would answer my call soon. My voice sounded unusually vulnerable and shaky because of the eerie things surrounding me. I kept walking down the halls that were darkened with histories of evil events. My voice and my footfalls echoing. Eventually I came to the end of the hallway and a small light peered beyond the corner. I went towards it slowly, unsure what would happen next...

| She was at a different part of the shrine, looking around, but then she heard a familiar voice and two others so she decided to go check it out. As she was walking toward the crowd, she saw another girl who seemed lost. "Hello." | |

| I turned to the person whom seemed to address me with a hello. In fact, the voice was so near to me, I had to assume that she was addressing me. I turned to face her and look at her straight in the eyes. I smiled softly, a little confused and worried in the process of being here. I seemed to have my left hand grab my right arm in a way that told her, I really didn't know where I was.
"Hi." | |

| ((I suppose i'll post, but this is kinda getting out of order..))
She smiled slightly. "You don't seem to be from here. I've never seen you here, that's how i know." She looked over to the area where the other two were, but she wasn't able to see much of anything so she turned back to the girl.
